Job Title: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations – Finance Functional Architect (Contract)

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Finance Functional Architect for a 6-month onsite contract in Abu Dhabi. The role will lead finance solution design, implementation & support activities, working closely with business and technical teams to deliver a robust D365 F&O finance solution within a time-bound engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead finance functional architecture for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O
• Design and validate solutions across core finance modules:
  • General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Cash & Bank Management, Cost Accounting
• Conduct fit-gap analysis and define fit-to-standard solutions
• Translate business requirements into functional designs and configurations
• Guide functional consultants through configuration, testing, and UAT
• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, extensions, and data migration
• Support cutover, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and local statutory requirements
• Perform knowledge transfer to internal teams before contract completion

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years in ERP / finance systems, with strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Finance experience
• Proven experience as a Finance Functional Architect or Lead Consultant
• Deep understanding of finance processes and accounting structures
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Financial dimensions, chart of accounts, and ledger setup
  • Posting profiles, inter-company accounting, and period close
  • Data migration and finance-related integrations
• Experience with LCS, Azure DevOps, and Agile / hybrid delivery models
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work onsite in Abu Dhabi for the contract duration

Preferred

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance certification
• Prior Middle East project experience
• Consulting or system integrator background
